نمیدونم شده که یه آهنگ رو گوش بدین و چیزهایی که خواننده داره می خونه عینا همون چیزهایی باشه که براتون اتفاق افتاده! یکی از اون موارد برای من حین گوش دادن به آلبومه جدیده جناب Mark Knopfler اتفاق افتاد! آهنگ A Place where we used to live .عید همین امسال موقعی که به ایران برگشته بودم سری به خونه بچگی و نوجوانیم زدم و شب و روزی رو توی اون مخروبه دوست داشتنی گذراندم:

میخواستم خیلی زودترها راجع به آلبوم زیبای Mark Knopfler بنویسم ولی جابجایی خونه تمامه وقتمو گرفته بود.تازه کارهای تکمیلی خونه و اضافه کاریهای ناشی از تعطیلات آینده رو هم بیارین روش که البته مشکلی هم بابت اتصال اینترنتم پیش اومده بود!
آلبوم جدیده Mark K. با یک هفته تاخیر هشتم اکتبر اینجا به بازار ارایه شد. شامل 2 تا CD و با نام The Ragpicker's Dream سی دی اصلی شامل 12 آهنگ و 55:39 دقیقه میباشد: مخلوطی از سبک Dire Straits و Country music ! تـمامه آهنگها در سبک خودشون زیبا هستند. صدای Mark Knopfler که در تمام اهنگها میدرخشه. آهنگهای
Hill Farmer's Blues, A Place where we used to live,You don't know you're born, the ragpicker's Dream را شاید بتوان از شاهکارهای Dire straits ای دونست.در عوض آهنگهای :
Why Aye man, Fare thee well Northumberland, Marbletown,Daddy's gone to Knoxville, Old Pigweed,Devil Baby, از شاهکارهای سبک Country music هستند.

سی دی دوم از 5 آهنگ Live این استاد در کنسرتهای Massy Hall , Toronto و Shepherds bush empire گرفته شده.
طرح روی جلد عکس سیاه سفید بسیار زیبای یک زوج در حین رقصیدن و بوسیدن در آشپز خانه ای ساده است.
Mark Knopfler تور آلبوم جدیدشو مثل آلبوم قبلیش با تاخیر از سال آینده شروع میکنه.
