يکي از خوانندهاي مورد علاقم که اينطرف آمدنم باعث شد بشناسمش خواننده و موزيسيني انگليسي اهل منچستر بنام:
David Gray است. اولين آهنگي که ازش شنيدم
Babylon بود که بسيار جذبم کرد. سبک بسيار ساده ومعمولي را در شاخه SoftRock داره. اولين آلبومشو در سال 1993 بنام A Century Ends انتشار داد وسپس آلبومهاي Flesh-1994 و Sell Sell Sell -1996 که اين آخري موفقيت چشمگيري براش داشت. سپس آلبوم بسيار معروفش White Ladder را در سال 1999 منتشر کرد و سپس منتخبي از کارهايش بنام The Ep's 92-94 و Lost Songs-95-98 در سال 2001 و درست قبل از سال نو آلبوم جديد زيباش بنام A new Day at Midnight .
آلبوم از 12 آهنگ تشکيل شده و زمان آن 50:37 دقيقه است.تمام متن شعرها و موزيک بجز یکي دوتا از اونها که کاري مشترکه، نوشته و ساخته خودش است. آهنگهاي زيبا در آلبومش بسيار است، به موزيکش گوش بدین حتما ازش خوشتون مياد:
